Oh, 2020. You will forever go down in history as one of the worst years ever - crazy bees, wildfires, the thing (cough, cough) that shall not be named, and a whole lot of staying inside. It was a great year for our derpy doggos because they never had to spend a minute alone and a terrible year for cats because they never got one minute alone. There was, however, some prime internet comedy during this time because we all had nothing to do, so at least that's something.

As we get farther and farther away from 2020, we can start to look back on it (don't worry, it's still terrible) and laugh at all those funny internet things that happened that year. A dog definitely wrote that article at the Washington Post, no doubt about it. We can already tell you what is says without even reading it - dogs should sleep in your bed because you can cuddle with them while they take up the whole bed and you wake up with their paws in your face. Yeah, we'll pass on this advice, thanks.

If by "communicate with us psychically", you mean, judge us intensely every second we're around them, then yes, they are 100% trying to communicate psychically with us. Other than taking 17 naps a day and grooming themselves, what else do they have to do?
